sl events - creative producer

I worked as creative producer for SL Events, producing, writing and directing the children's event 'Santa's Christmas Party' at Heritage site the Cunard Building over the Christmas period of 2017, for 44 shows, breaking company records for tickets sold and customer satisfaction.

I also was in charge of liaising and organising all live entertainment across two hotels (The Shankly and 30 James Street) and two bars (Alma de Cuba and Mulholland), on a weekly basis.

The Christmas Party included an ensemble of actors playing elves and Santa performing a 15 minute show that included a dance and song, and interactive storytelling. Following this was interactive activities and stories around the site performed by elves for children. IN THE MILLENNIAL DOME - EDINBURGH FRINGE SHOW 2017 (past)

Following a sellout run at Liverpool Fringe Festival, 'In The Millennial Dome', an original writing piece with poems about generation snowflake, was performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival (5 - 11 August (11:10am) Room 1, Black Market, 32 Market St), to much acclaim.

"Millenial Dome is an artful intersection between these extremes. It gently mocks the vegan-craft ales-Corbyn-Insta-gym generation, whilst delving into the implications of struggling to answer the question “So what do you do?”"
Ed Fringe Review

"That was the best thing I've seen at the fringe, although I've only just got off the train"
Audience Member

"Really funny, and really truthful as well"
Liverpool University Drama Society

Produced, written and performed by Alex Ferguson and Geraint Williams.
